I have a question that I have had for a while now... I've seen Karalee and your photos of people and their eyes stand out so much, gorgeous. I am beginning to get in artistic photography and portraits, but I really would like the eyes of the people to stand out. How do you do that?
ReplyDelete(P.S.- This is one of my favorite photography blogs, please keep it going!)

Thank you so much!
DeleteThe eyes are usually the prettiest feature on a person. You can show so much through eyes, which is why you want them to stand out.
When focusing my camera, I always try to have it focus on the eyes. That way, when I go to edit it, that is the part that will really stand out.
So focusing is big.
Besides that, I like to have my pictures a little darker, which helps the eyes stand out. When editing, I add shadows which make them stand out even more. (though, depending on your picture, you might not want a lot of that)
I hope this helps you a bit! This is just what I do. I'm sure other people do it differently. (and I probably forgot to mention something along the way. haha, forgive me!)
