I just love books.

They're one of the best things on earth.

There are certain books that just transport you to a different place.  I leave mine strewn all over the house (these on the bookshelf aren't all of them, no).  Normally, I don't finish all the books I take from the library.

Lately...

...i've been figuring out the manual mode on my camera, and. goodness, guys, i'm in love with it. I can see the  difference! 

... been addicted to hot chocolate. my only excuse is that hot chocolate is great for fall weather.

...been dying to go outside with my little sister, weather to go to the park, or just outside to take pictures of late blooming flowers or leaves. (she loves cameras, too. I let her use one of my old ones)

...black and white pictures have been my favorite.

...been doing so.much.school. I literally just got done doing chemistry. it's the worst thing ever, and the problems are so picky, and i just get so confused by the organization  you have to remember everything in your head. lol, just a little advice. if you're trying to do chemistry, go somewhere quiet, don't listen to anything. with words. i learned that the hard way.

...ive been loving this fall weather, and the fashions... gah!

...ive been seriously loving black backgrounds (or white) with one main focal point.

...i've been trying to capture motion in pictures.

Words

Words are beautiful. Not just the words we speak, but the words that are everywhere. In books, on signs, even on your food. Words to me are magical. They can do anything.

Special shoutout for whoever can guess all the books that have a * under the picture. Guess the first three you can see. for this one.

* One of the best places to find words is in a book. There's no better feeling than being lost in Panem or Hogwarts or Narnia.

* The one on the right.

Some of the best words? Shimmer, supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, creation, melody, grace, bokeh. Words that just flow off the tongue.

 *Smile, blush, murmur, woosh, truth, flow, dance.

 *I love words. They are simply one of the best things on this earth.

Some of the best words are found in the Bible. Words of truth and love. Words of promise and hope. Truly the best word ever.

Everyday Life {{A Not-So Friday Post by Carolyn}}

  Hey guys, it's Carolyn!  Remember me?  Yeah, I kind of disappeared off the face of the Earth for quite some time . . . well, this blog, anyways.  So I apologize!  XD  Anyways, school's almost out, so I'll be able to post on here more often soonish!  :]

  Have you ever photographed everyday life?  Things that you often look at and think nothing of, such as your books or that pretty pillow case?  Well, I adore photographing these types of things.  And sometimes those pictures can turn out rather lovely.  :]

Patterns, Schoolwork, & My Dog (by A.J.)

More than once I have taken pictures for my turn and used different ones instead, so I'll post them all here at once.  
First, patterns.  I took a bunch of random clothes out of my closet to see what I could do with them, picture-wise.

This is the lamp in my bedroom.  It is so photogenic.  :D

Now, this is my schoolwork from one day last week.  Taking pictures of it makes it a little less irritating.  :P

 Last set.  :)  This is my ferocious little pitbull . . . not!  She is the sweetest thing.
