working on it... // my life lately

so, we're still working on getting this site back up and running. we hope to finalize things before summer. ha! lots and lots has happened lately in my life. First, I took a break in March, and revamped my whole site/refreshed my mind and my site. (and even changed the name!)  Now I do what I love, and love doing it. Check it out here! some of our Easter eggs were very pretty I made this awesome notebook, and am growing my collection of DIY's. I have designed a few things. and have opened my new design site. b&w rocks. i love necklaces.    I made these jeggings for my shop, and posted about them here and here. I'm doing a vlog and need questions.   I got a new camera bag! Spring is coming (finally) I've been doing a lot of designing lately, and talk about it here. Also, I'm doing the Blog Every Day In May challenge. and, best of all, I can post pictures of people on the internet and myself! This is me. Which photo is your favorite? Do you follow my blog? Not that I have much to say, but I have been sick. For a month and a half, and that's why I've been gone.

But, either way, it's not the most fun for you, reader.

So, I think we'll all get back to posting regularly soon.

A Very Big Announcement {please read}

Hey, guys.

It's been awhile since I did a news post.

But a few things have changed/are changing.

First of all, I couldn't do all the moderating/things on the blog alone. I don't have enough time, and it's a little bit stressful.

Enter Karalee.

She is going to be helping me with things on here. Sort of like the co-admin.

I picked her for two reasons:

1. She's the oldest on the blog and she knows what she's doing. We've talked FTP things before, and she was really a good helper.

2. She posts consistently. Thus, she knows what I want on here, and what needs to be done.

To get things up and running, we have decided on a few changes- for the better, and believe me you, they are going to be so.fun.

First of all, may I direct your attention to the waiting list.

If you're not on the blog already, you can comment (with your email) that you would like to join.

I will put you on the list in order of when you asked, and when someone drops out, I will email you asking if you still want to join, and, well, get to know you, and inform you.

Another thing that has changed.

We have to say goodbye to two more members.

Rebekah stated her reasons for leaving, but I'm not sure where that post went...

and Kellee stated her reasons for leaving in a post on her blog.

We are EXTREMELY sorry to see these wonderful girls (and good friends) go, but we realized they have more in their life, and that they can't make this commitment.

We have to people who may take these girls' spots, but if one of them falls through, we will use the waiting list to determine who will come next.

PLEASE NOTE: if you can't post on your day every other week, I'm sorry, but you won't be picked.

As harsh as this seems, it really isn't hard.

If you really do love photography,we would love for you to be a part of this collaboration. Posts are not meant to stressful, but there shouldn't really be any excuse for not posting, put up a title, some of your  photos that you have taken recently, tell us why you like them and go from there. It is understandable to miss every once in a while, but it is important to really try to post on as many of your days as you can.

That is what we're looking for. 

We want to find people who are really dedicated to photography and really want to learn more about it.

This is the perfect opportunity for people who are like that.

Members post tips all the time, and you will have many chances to post your photography on this blog, which is dedicated to photography, and followers who come from all sorts of different places wanting to see your photography.

So, if you really want to join, and you really are dedicated to photography, follow this link, and leave a comment with your email address.

We are going to be have two photo challenges a month.
The rules concerning that will be explained when we start that.

Last object of interest...
We are going to be putting together lists of words that you could depict in your photos twice a month.
Each list would have about 20 words or so on it.

I need to clarify: why Vivy left

Okay, so I have seen some comments on this blog about how Vivy didn't have time to post and we made her leave (or something similar).

I need to clarify.

Yes, Vivy did not have time to post, but no, we did not make her leave. We loved having her here, and we are very sorry she is gone.

Here is a screen copy of the comment she left on my blog:

All her posts (and Ariannas) will remain on this blog. 

It was her choice and we have to move on.

So, no, we did not make her leave.

Oh- and one more thing.

The only person who is forced to post on any random day is me.

I like to have the other people in this collab blog choose the days that work best for them, and I take whatever day that is leftover.

It was my choice to do this. And also, if any of the members want a different day, all they have to do is shoot me an email, and we work it out from there.

We do not make anyone post on a given day. They chose that day.

So, thanks for understanding.

Hello there! There are a couple reasons I am making this post. :P ;)

#1 Valentines Day is over, and that post is STILL the front one, so I felt I needed to change it. XD :P

#2 I thought you might want to know our schedule. Maybe, possibly. :P
