Hope for Paws

One of my favorite things to do in my free time lately is to visit the local animal shelter.

My friend goes quite frequently, and I really enjoy tagging along occasionally to help out and [of course] take pictures.

All of the dogs are super friendly and lovable. They all deserve great homes, but I'm glad that I get to spend the time I do with them. :)

***You can find a shelter close to you through a search engine such as Google. If you wish to visit one, please make sure to get permissions from your parents AND from the shelter. Supervision around the dogs is recommended. Many dogs in shelters are very friendly, but some may have problems with certain people (have a grudge against someone because of age, gender, etc.). Helping out at a shelter is great, just be careful and courteous. :)

So today I wanted to mess around with editing a little and try giving my photos a different feeling.  Here goes nothing . . . :)

The peaches in my kitchen were sitting in a Fiesta bowl from the 1940's.  I couldn't resist.  :)

I hope you enjoyed, and I really hope that this was enough.  :)  I edited a few more but they just didn't come out as I hoped they would.

Recently I went to my mom's cousin's house.  While everyone just hung out and talked, I took pictures.  What did you expect?
I experimented with the B&W on my camera for a while.

The Awkward First Post-ness

HAH! I'm not late! I still have about two minutes. :3
(Sorry this is so very nearly late, my internet is about as nice as Sirius Black's mother. -.-)
ANYWAY.
My name is Jeneca (from Jeniqua), I'm a girl (obviously) I like to take pictures (obviously) and one of my favorite things in the whole world is my camera! (obviously). I'm normally pretty random, spazzmatic and happy. Usually.
Anyway, enough about me, here is what you all probably clicked this post for.

You're most likely trying to decide whether or not you should even bother to look at my posts every time I do post. (first impressions matter...!)

Challenge (Sapphire's Monday Post 2/2)

My Dog- or should I say a dog that stayed at our house for a little over a week. We are bringing him back tomorrow (just not right for us) I swear he poses for this!

I did it! Note these aren't watermarked, PLEASE don't steal. More will be on my blog soon :) Actually, the best ones will be on my blog soon, I know these aren't my greatest :P

What I've been up to

I'm so sorry that I missed my last turn! I was in the middle of finals week and didn't even realize that it was Tuesday until it was Wednesday. I've had lots of time to spend taking pictures since I moved back home for the summer, so I'll just post some of those :)
