Etc. {{A Friday Post by Carolyn}}

  Hey everyone!  Happy Friday!  ;]  Right now, I'm at my grandparents' house, so I am not able to upload the pictures I took today, quite obviously!  XD  I don't have my camera with me, so how could I?  So, I'm just going to post some of my favorite pictures that I found on my Picasa.  :D

  Have an awesome weekend!

Sometimes, I Take a Million Pictures {{A Friday Post by Carolyn}}

  The other day, I went outside to take pictures because of the stunning sunlight and blue sky.  Perfect spring-time photo-op! :D

A berry type-o-thing on our bush.  I LOVE the bokeh in this picture!

The bush is rather photogenic, don't you think?

Leaves of some sort.

Pretty little white flowers!

The dreaded dandelion.  XD  But the yellow is so . . . awesome!  XD

My shadow, my hair in the breeze.  XD

My red bud is REALLY budding now!

Here's my brother's tree.  :]

Sun flare-ish!  XD

This is a really cool picture.  XD  The out-of-focus-ness made the sun gorgeous, leaving a sun flare for me to be happy with.

More of my tree!

More of my brother's tree!

YELLOW FLOWERS!

AND RED FLOWERS!

Sorry this is sideways.

  Hope you enjoyed my millions of pictures.  XD  Any favorites?

Love,
Carolyn

I don't really have any "Valentines" pictures, but I do have some of leaves that kind of look like hearts...

If you squint your eyes. :)

The weather was so gorgeous the other day that I couldn't help but take my camera on a little trip outside. The sun was in such a position that I decided would be perfect to try out this "sun flare" that I have seen to frequently on pintrest.

To create sun flare with a DSLR, you set your aperture to as large a number as you can. I used my 50mm prime lens and had my aperture at about F/14 or 16 the whole time. I had my ISO set at 400 for most of the pictures.

***It is very hazardous to look directly at the sun (even through a view finder). I recommend getting a general idea of where the sun is and trying your best to get the picture without actually looking at the sun.

I hope everyone likes the pictures :) Which one is your favorite?
